QUERY approximately up ship keeps spinning
Why Your Ship Keeps Spinning in Approximately Up
CURRENT TEST NEEDED
DIRECT ANSWER
Isolate the cause before rebuilding: release all control input, disable maneuvering thrust, compare left and right propulsion, then re-enable systems one at a time. Also update first—1.0.006 corrected signed Axis Rotometer values.

ROTATION ISOLATION / EDITORIAL
Remove one source of torque at a time.
A diagnostic order, not a claim that every spinning ship shares one fault.
- 01 / INPUT
- release or disconnect maneuver controls
- 02 / THRUST
- compare active engines and RCS
- 03 / READING
- update before trusting old rotometer signs

Why this page exists: A pilot needs to distinguish control input from an imbalanced craft or a bad reading.
Start with the dated patch fact
Version 1.0.006 says signed Axis Rotometer values were corrected. That can change how a pilot interprets direction, but it does not prove the patch fixes physical rotation on a particular ship.
If rotation continues with controls released, treat the craft as a system: asymmetrical active thrust, misplaced maneuvering hardware, or a persistent input can each create a similar symptom.
Make the test observable
Change one variable at a time and record whether the rotation stops. A full answer requires the ship layout and control mapping; a screenshot of the symptom alone cannot establish the cause.
